In 'Dream Girl' where Nushrat Bharucha worked with Ayushmann Khurrana. At the same time, Ananya Pandey has been cast in her place in 'Dream Girl 2'.
"Dream Girl 2," released in 2023, is the exciting follow-up to the popular movie "Dream Girl" from 2019. Just like the first film, this one is directed by Raj Shandilya and brings back the fun and charm we loved. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana as the lead character, the story revolves around a guy from Mathura who's known for talking like a girl on the phone.
Ayushmann Khurrana's Dream Girl 2 is coming. The sequel of 'Dream Girl' came in 2019. The story of this film is about a boy from Mathura. Who talks to men on the phone in the voice of girls. Nushrratt Bharuccha was seen opposite Ayushmann in the previous film. Ananya Panday has been cast in her place in the sequel. Nusrat talked about this in a recent interview. He said that he did not understand this decision of the makers of the film. It doesn't have any logic.
Nushrat Bharucha's new film is coming 'Akeli'. He is busy promoting it. In this connection, he spoke to ETimes. In this interview, he talked about the issue of being kept out of 'Dream Girl 2'. Nusrat said-
"I was a part of 'Dream Girl 1'. And I love that entire team. I miss working with them. But why didn't they (makers) cast me in 'Dream Girl 2'? Only he can answer. I don't know. There is no logic to this, no answer. But why didn't they cast me? I am a human being, that's why it hurts. And obviously it seems unfair. But I understand. It's their decision. Cool, no problem."
He had earlier also spoken on the question of not being cast in 'Dream Girl 2'. Nusrat said that she did not have the courage to call the makers and ask the reason behind it. Nusrat's film 'Akeli' is going to be released on August 25. Ayushmann-Ananya's 'Dream Girl 2' is also coming on the same day. On this Nusrat said that his film was earlier to be released on 18 August. But due to some issues with the censor board, it had to be pushed forward. Nusrat said that he also talked to Raj Shandilya about this. Raj is the director of 'Dream Girl 2'.
